Reed Education are working with a Good rated primary school who are searching for a Reception Teacher to join them on a temporary basis from September.
Initially to cover maternity leave until April 2017, you’ll be working within a school who are working towards becoming a lead school to support other schools within the city so you know that you’ll be placed within a caring and nurturing environment who want to support children and other schools alike.
The school are dual form entry offering freeflow between the 2 classes and so you’ll need to be comfortable with this and have the ability to be flexible and adapt to the movement within the class.
As Reception Teacher, you’ll need to have a patient and caring manner with the ability to plan and prepare engaging lessons to keep the children hungry to learn. You’ll be responsible for all aspects of the teacher role which will include, but not end at; marking, assessing, observations and leading/directing of the teaching assistants within the classroom.
Read Write Inc plays a large part within the Reception classses and so it is requested that applicants hold experience of teaching and delivering this Phonics programme to children.
