Reporting Analyst – Finance

We are looking for an experienced Reporting Analyst, to work within our Financial Reporting team. The ideal candidate would like to work within a Finance setting, but potentially without the need to complete additional studying as the focus for this role is accurate reporting of our complex business activities.

The Role

The key focus for this role is linked to financial integrity – the Finance Reporting Team is the ‘go to’ team for clear, coherent and reliable financial reporting for internal customers within SSP UK.

Reporting

Ensure preparation of Board Report and ad hoc reports for use by senior management team and UK Board.
Ensure all group reporting deadlines are met with timely submissions into the group reporting system (ALEA).
Complete any adhoc reporting requests from key business stakeholders.
Consolidate UK airport passenger data and prepare relevant reports.
Ensure all UK reporting is delivered in an accurate and timely manner, which will include the following
Daily Sales.
Weekly Internal revenue and profit reports.
External business partner reporting.
Period KPI reporting.
MIS Maintenance

Ensure all group reporting deadlines are met with timely submissions into the group reporting system (ALEA).
Maintain the MDS database and ensure all unit data is up to date, reconciled and correct.
Assist with the co-ordination of FOX development issues with Group IT and ensure that all issues are communicated across Category Finance.
Consolidate, process and reconcile MIS uploads for budget & forecasts.

The Details

This is a great role if you are an Excel Expert and can demonstrate great attention to detail. Many of the reports you will create and run will involve advances manipulation and modelling to confirm the data.

Essential:

Excellent Excel skills
Analytical mind mixed with drive and enthusiasm.
Excellent problem solving skills
Desirable:

Experience of using a BI tool
Experience of working within a large retail company
Advanced Excel skills including VBA
Comfortable with analysing and manipulating large volumes of data with the ability to produce useful reported information
