A very well-respected Top 100 London law firm with an excellent reputation seeks a confident and experienced Legal PA & Secretary for a varied and interesting role in their Commercial Litigation team.
This firm have an excellent reputation and a great working atmosphere, and are offering a competitive package with benefits, and good working hours. This firm is based in South West London.
You’ll be supporting Partners with a fast-paced workload across a variety of matters.
Your responsibilities will include:
Diary management and other PA assistance for fee-earners;
Document production, including reports and drafting correspondence;
Client liaison, being a friendly and positive client point of contact, and accurately keeping contact details;
Preparing for trial, including court bundles and other court documents,
Liaising with counsel and court, and assisting with Disclosure;
Undertaking Land Registry and Companies House searches;
Record-keeping, digital dictation, opening and closing files, assistance with client billing, filing and archiving etc; and
Other ad hoc administrative, secretarial or PA tasks.
The firm are ideally looking for someone with strong Litigation experience, gained supporting Partners within a law firm (in the UK or a common law jurisdiction).
You will possess very good attention to detail, be able to work well under pressure, have a typing speed above 65wpm and confidence with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. You will also need good written and verbal communication skills, as well as good numeracy.
