The Regional HRM is a Cultural Ambassador who ‘partners’ to the Regional Manager and takes shared ownership as well as responsibility for the delivery of all people goals and targets. The generalist Regional Human Resource Manager provides technical HR guidance in all generalist areas and adopts commercially focussed HR solutions that add measured value to the business. The Human Resources Manager will represent the values of Caffe Nero in every action and decision. The HRM will be hot desking from Covent Garden, London with extensive travel, covering the South East Region. The HR Manager will have a Retail and / or Hospitality back ground
HRM Responsibilities

Partner with the Regional Manager to review all HR activity within the Region on a monthly basis and agree key focus areas.
Create and deliver a timed plan for each area of improvement
Attend P&L reviews to support RM in agreeing people initiatives
Ensure usage of national SP process within region
Partner with RM to identify short term and long term successors within Region
Agree development needs of successors and ensure required development occurs within a timed plan in partnership with RM and Training Team
Ensure succession plans / processes are utilised and fit for purpose within the Region
Partner with the Regional Manager to pro-actively plan for short, medium and long term staffing needs, in line with turnover trends and business growth
Drive and support usage of Applicant Tracking System across Region
Ensure agreed recruitment methods are consistently applied across the Region and that individuals participating in the process are proficient
Work with Area Managers to deliver recruitment solutions for challenging roles
Drive participation and lead Engagement Survey activity within Region and partner with Regional Manager in the creation of relevant improvement plans
Support Area Management team in driving and implementing improvements where required
Support and coach Area Management Team to appropriately manage the welfare and wellbeing of their teams
Support the on-going development of people management skills within the Area Management team via day to day experience and one to one coaching
Support the Training team in the delivery of specialist HR skills through company training programmes
Provide technical support on all ER matters within a commercial context
Continually develop the knowledge and skill of the Regional team to ensure that teams are managed fairly and consistently
To deliver commercially focussed HR projects in line with business plans
Develops & continuously strengthens relationships across the region and within the HR team through effective communication
Demonstrates appropriate behaviour to create an open culture of two way feedback within Region
Is collaborative & applies a supportive coaching style
Will report into the Senior Regional HRM
