You will work as a member of the Divisional Supply Chain team supporting forecasting and the Divisional Sales and Operating Planning Process across Food to Go.
50% of your time will be spent on forecasting and the other 50% will be to support the Divisional Supply Chain Manager in the implementation and execution of the Sales and Operations plans for the division including any ancillary analysis, preparation and issuing of reports and preparation and issuing of capacity planning information
o Become a proficient user of Mercia forecasting software and all the ancillary processes
o Forecasting of Salad and Sushi SKUs
o Provide holiday and sickness cover for the existing Forecasting Analyst
o Become a proficient user of the 3 SOP planning models for Sandwiches, Sushi and Salads.
o To update the Sandwich model and support the local updating of the Sushi and Salad models monthly, or more frequently if required.
o To produce the Sandwich SOP report and support the local production of the Sushi and Salad SOP reports monthly, or more frequently if required
o To support the development of the SOP process under guidance from the Divisional Supply Chain Manager
o Support development of Divisional Supply Chain initiatives by providing analysis and administrative support
o Support development of customer related supply chain initiatives by providing analysis and administrative support
Skills & Experience
o Experience of forecasting in an FMCG company o Experience of working with forecasting systems
o Experience in planning materials, production or distribution
o Experience of working cross functionally or within a multi site environment
o Minimum of A level qualification o Advanced Excel user
o Ability to analyse, interpret and present data to multiple stakeholders
o Ability to work to tight deadlines and whilst ensuring attention to detail and ensuring data accuracy
