We are recruiting for a Cross/Up Sell Campaign Strategy Manager to join one of the UK’s big brand telco firms in London.
The role sits within the next best action function for the business and is being appointed on a 12 month fixed term contract initially, with the potential to go permanent at a later date.
You will own the cross and up-sell marketing strategy agenda and its respective deployment into both customer service and retail channels. The core KPI of your role will be achieving value growth targets, increasing customer value at all relevant touch points within their ‘in-life’ journey.
So your remit will include:
The definition of customer targeting and offer design
Definition of the campaigns themselves, built leveraging customer insight to underpin commercial decisioning
Ensuring channel readiness for campaigns, ensuring the comms and support materials are fit for purpose and enable front-line staff providing the offers are best armed to deliver the required results
Working closely with the strategy lead within the team to identify new ideas and opportunities, taking into account their impact on other existing campaign strategies already in play
Owner of the customer contact strategy for all campaign offers and propositions within this space
Final sign-off for any new campaigns being deployed which target cross and up-sell activities through the retail or customer service channels
Owner of the campaign data brief, ensuring it’s correctly targeted and working with the campaign data planning team to ensure selections meet the desired criteria
Responsible for balancing commercial goals with the customer experience. Ensuring over contact isn’t made and the customer is appropriately delighted at every opportunity.
This is a role which is able to significantly influence the company’s bottom line. The expected value you will bring should be in the region of around Â£50m. So if you’re looking for a role with real impact and ownership, this could be just the thing you’ve been looking for.
Role: Cross / Up-Sell Campaign Strategy & Planning Manager
Salary: Â£45,000 to Â£55,000

Initial term: 12 month fixed term contract, with potential to extend to perm.
Sound CRM campaign planning and execution experience within a data driven CRM environment
Experience of either inbound or outbound campaigns is fine – must be from a comparable scale and pace of environment to what you’d expect of a high profile telecoms business though
Experience of cross / up-sell campaigns ideal
Really sound commercial skills, balancing up the needs of the business with those of the customer and able to work with the propositions teams to develop and launch sound insight devices offers which customers will find compelling yet achieve business commercial targets too
Previous experience of Chordiant/Pega would be a real benefit. But you could have also worked with other CRM decisioning or NBA tools too
Really good business prioritisation skills, especially within a high volume, incredibly busy campaign environment
Solid project management skills and ability to pull stakeholders together
Must have the necessary visas to live and work in the UK – sponsorship will not be provided.
