This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organised, motivated and experienced Health & Safety professional with previous ‘hands on’ experience in conducting Hazard and Risk Assessments for contractors and Host Employers across a range of industry sectors.
To be successful in this role, you will work with key internal and external stakeholders to:
Conduct on-site Contractor and Host Employer hazard/risk assessments
Provide comprehensive and timely report writing
Diagnose and recommend health & safety corrective actions and improvements based on current state health & safety legislation as well as new health and safety laws
Conduct additional health and safety initiatives as required
This role will be working on a part time basis, based out of our stunning Melbourne CBD offices.
You will have a risk management mindset
Formal tertiary Health and Safety qualifications
Current knowledge of nationwide state health & safety legislation as well as new health and safety laws
Proactive and effective approach to developing understanding of health & safety requirements, opportunities and risks
Proven experience in developing strong relationships with the ability to provide practical health and safety recommendations
Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise workload, work autonomously and provide timely completion of assessments and reports
Exceptional communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
High attention to detail, be well organised and have the initiative and drive to ‘own’ the role
A current drivers licence
The ideal candidate will also have experience working within the recruitment industry carrying out a similar role or experience working in a health focused environment.
