Support Worker for Man with Autism – North Norfolk (£9.25 per hour)
Could you help support a young man who has been living in his own home with help for over 10 years? Do you like the idea of working with a friendly and very experienced team?
We’re looking for a bright, imaginative, caring and flexible person to join a team of 7 people.
About the role
The person you will support leads an active life, at home and on trips out every day. Because of his autism and learning difficulties, he needs support with understanding the world, with domestic jobs around the house and some personal care.
You don’t need to be experienced in autism to learn how to support him, because full person-specific training will be given. For the right person, we pay up to £9.25 per hour (after probation and full training), with a regular contract and full holiday entitlement.
This can be a full-time or a part-time post, and everyone on the team contributes some shifts on alternate weekends. We need you to have good written communication skills, and basic IT skills. You need to be physically fit, and a love of music is a real advantage.
You’ll need your own transport because the job is based in a small village.
In return for your hard work and dedication, Dimensions offer a benefits package better than any in this sector, more details can be found in the Careers section of the Dimensions website.
