EasyJet Holidays is one of our businesses within the Bedbank business unit which operates a dynamic holiday business on behalf of EasyJet. This includes packaging, marketing and selling hotel accommodation with EasyJet flights, and providing ancillary products, direct to the consumer in 7 European source markets (UK, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, France, Spain, Netherlands) through B2C websites and a multi-lingual contact center operating 7 days a week, 365 days per year.
The purpose of the easyJet holidays Web Analytics & Insights Executive role is to provide business data and insight to easyJet holidays to assist driving the performance of the e-commerce website across the seven markets we operate in.
The primary function of the role is to be the internal Google Analytics expert, providing business intelligence data, and working across the business to interpret that data and turn it into actionable insight for ongoing improvements to the website.
This role sits within the Digital Marketing team of easyJet holidays. The team is responsible for the campaigns, content, brand, acquisition of easyJet holidays customers across seven EU markets. This is a cross-functional role with close alignment with Web Development, Product and Finance to drive revenue and optimize performance using data insight to support decision making.
Deliver business intelligence reporting – daily, weekly, monthly, campaign and site analysis
Work cross-functionally with Product, Finance and the wider Marketing team to deliver insight and reporting
Champion the use of data to support decision-making and ongoing website improvements
Act as the owner of Google Analytics set-up and reporting and ensure data is made available, and reliable. Including all associated reporting tools and tags.
Provide data analysis to evolve a deep understanding of channel performance, user behavior, search interaction, landing page and booking funnel optimization and development of test and learn strategies.
Contribute to the UX and CRO optimization development plan to focus development in areas to maximize conversion and user experience.
Technical SEO optimization expert supported by content executive and IT team.
Educated to degree level and with at least 3-4 years’ of relevant experience.
Must have experience working within a fast-paced, commercially driven e-commerce environment.
Travel/Tourism sector experience is a distinct advantage.
Experience working with a responsive website and delivering cross-device insight.
Google Analytics, Webmaster tools, Google Tag Manager expert user.
Microsoft Excel expert user.
Experience with SuperMetrics, Tableau, Optimizley and SEO/SEM tools is an advantage.
Coding experience is an advantage.
Highly Analytical and Commercial results focused.
Highly organized and capable of juggling multiple tasks.
Positive with a can-do attitude.
Comfortable managing numerous projects (big and small) simultaneously.
Ability to cut through noise, and come to clear conclusions / recommendations.
