We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Community Fundraiser at a world famous, high profile international humanitarian charity. This role will be based in the charity’s Portsmouth office and will cover Hampshire and the Isle of Wight.
You will need to be results driven and focused to ensure that strategic financial and non-financial objectives are delivered through a network of supporters and volunteers. You may have worked in the charity sector, PR or customer services but your ability to communicate and build relationships with supporters and donors will be second to none and crucial to ensure that they grow income to support charity’s work. Your role will be to support, develop and inspire supporter groups and individuals from a wide variety of backgrounds. You will be confident working independently with focus, drive and enthusiasm.
You must have a pro-active approach to your work whilst being confident in supporting and motivating others. If you are an experienced community fundraiser or have relevant transferable skills and are passionate about the work of the sector we would be delighted to hear from you.
A full driving licence and use of a car is required for this position, as you will be required to travel within the area of Hampshire and the Isle of Wight.
