Blue Sky Hosting has been providing managed hosting solutions for business websites and web-based applications since 1996.
We are currently looking to recruit an experienced IT Analyst & Architect with a minimum of 5 years’ experience. You will be based in London and key responsibilities will include:
Leading a team with responsibility for analysing and developing software systems encompassing the business needs of the organisation;
Communicating with management, customers and partners to establish the correct IT strategy for the company;
Analysing the requirements of the business and play a key role in either developing the solutions in-house or outsourcing it to other developer/development companies;
Implementation of the strategies and future maintenance of the software system.
The role requires a relevant graduate level qualification, ideally specialising in management information systems or computer or information science. An MBA with an emphasis on the technology field would be an advantage. We are also looking for a minimum of 5 years’ experience in building software systems. The individual must demonstrate interest and a clear understanding of new software development technologies, frameworks and information management systems, perhaps undertaking regular qualifications outside their degree studies. The personnel are likely to be the key change facilitators within the organisation and must deliver effective solutions which provide tangible business benefits often within short timescales.
The role also calls for excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) as the successful candidate will need to engage with teams internally and externally to deliver solutions. The business regularly deals with outsourcing companies based in Bangalore (India) so the individual will need to be able to tackle complex problems head-on while dealing with the challenges of short timescales and demanding business stakeholders.
