Job Title: BDM – Business Development Manager
Salary: Â£23- Â£26k per annum dependent on experience
A opportunity has arisen for a Business Development Manager for a leading Drinks Wholesaler in Park Royal London (NW10), supplying to convenience, off licence, on- trade and CTN retail outlets.
The role of the candidate is raise the company profile, leads, and turnover to drive the business to the next level. Candidates should have a strong background in business to business sales and understanding of the convenience sector
The role involves working closely with the wholesale team to sell and activate promotions and increase sales revenue within convenience stores.
The candidate will also be responsible to ensure that sales targets and KPI’s are achieved, this will include increasing the business awareness through new and existing accounts.
Develop and implement stores in line with the Today’s wholesale standards and contractual obligations.
Seek new business opportunities from the independent sector and competitor symbol groups and present and recruit prospective new members.
Plan territory calls and maximise sales potential of the assigned accounts and to achieve sales targets.
Effectively and actively assist with merchandising stores to their full potential.
Work with suppliers to initiate and drive key sales.
Close new business deals by coordinating requirements
The ideal candidate will have the following:
Experience working in the convenience / Drinks Industry or related fields
An in depth understanding of the market to generate growth opportunities.
The ability to adapt to different audiences and channels.
Demonstrate experience in a sales or business development role.
Must be fluent in speaking and written English
Confident, well presented with the ability to adapt and develop client relationships with ease.
Strong communication skills at all levels.
Experience developing customer plans and growth strategies.
