VIP Executive Relations

The Role Objectives

This position is responsible for building relationships with the target universe of buyer (Operator) companies with a view to:
* Generating more registrations from the target buyer companies to attend the portfolio.
* Creating a comprehensive database of key individuals within Operators within the specific technology domain.
* Securing attendance from the board and C-level executives of the target buyer operators
* Facilitating the face-to-face introduction of these buyer groups to exhibitors and sponsors via pre-event and onsite introductions
* Planning, organisation and delivery of 2 X Speed Networking Sessions with up to 25 pre-agreed buyers on Day 1 and 25 buyers on Day 2 of each event

* Experience of communicating with C-level executives

Remit of the role:

* Build sustainable long term two-way relationships with various targeted departments and individuals within targeted companies
* Identify target individuals throughout Operator companies and persuade them to attend events with as many relevant colleagues as possible
* Arrange face-to-face meetings and organise regional road trips to augment and cement relationships
* Create a comprehensive database of key individuals within target operators and feed this to the wider team – in particular research and sales

* Seek out potential spex interest within target client
* Satisfy the daily job requirements in terms of call rates, phone time and call effectiveness
* Attend our events around the world and be an effective Event Series ambassador and networking facilitator

1. Principal tasks & responsibilities

* To communicate via telephone, email, Linked In and other relevant channels to past, current and potential new customers, build a relationship, understand their knowledge needs and business issues and induce them to attend the events
* To gain confirmation and ensure attendance in an efficient and effective manner as possible to meet attendee targets and deliver on-site
* To work closely with sales and research teams and research to feedback intelligence gained from client feedback
* Collect as much contact information as possible, in a comprehensive database, to widen our breadth and depth of clients in each target operator
* To process the necessary administrative work quickly and efficiently always bearing in mind the best use of your time to maximise efficiency for the business
* To up-hold our standards of customer service and respond professionally, diligently and in a timely manner to all customer requests
* Fulfil as much pre-show administrative work and on-site introductions as necessary to ensure that the networking demands of our sponsorship and exhibitions stakeholders are exceeded so that they will re-sign on site

Experience Required:
* Experienced, self-manager with drive to build new and long-term relationships with global clients

* Proven buyer management and communication experience
* Track record of exemplary administration and organisational skills
* Able to demonstrate success in building and developing key accounts
* Must have good face-to-face meeting skills
