Our client is seeking a PA/Compliance Administrator to join their team in Plymouth.
This is an exciting position and it will involve providing administration support to a busy team.
The role will involve administration in relation to;
LEXCEL application, renewals and audits
Wills & Inheritance Quality Scheme application, renewals and audits
Other practice management, Law Society or panel accreditation applications and renewals
Professional Indemnity Insurance application renewals
Maintenance of the Financial Conduct Register and central record of FCA referrals
Renewal of Data Protection Registration
Updating of the Office Manual following policy and personnel changes
Assisting with other compliance related queries or projects as required
Skills and experience required:
Strong organisational skills The ability to maintain confidential material as the role involves access to confidential client, financial, disciplinary and personnel details
An understanding of the SRA Code of Conduct; further training will be provided
An understanding of and commitment to the importance of the compliance aspects of working in a regulated firm
The ability to work within a team but also have their own responsibilities and be able to work on their own initiative
Excellent communication skills and a professional work attitude
Excellent telephone manner
Strong attention to detail
Modern IT skills particularly including excel spreadsheets
