SITE AGENT – NORWICH
Â£34,000 – Â£40,000 per annum.
I am recruiting for a Site Agent role for a large constriction and sustainable building materials organisation based in Norwich to join their team on an immediate basis.
The role will entail managing all aspects of scheme/activity works in line with all company procedures & polices. Works to be safely supervised and to achieve targets for the customer satisfaction, quality, profitability and completion on time.
Your new role
The Site Agent will cover scheme planning, management and monitoring whilst taking a proactive approach to health & safety. The Agent will manage the planning & programming of schemes, site administration and communicate effectively with internal and external customers in relation to all site requirements. They will be responsible for management of site operations to ensure all works are completed to the highest standard by effectively allocating labour, materials, plant & sub-contractors in accordance with the requirements of the scheme.
Responsibilities will include:
Participate in pre-contract site visit to determine projects needs.
Contribute to the production of target price and programme submission
Co-ordination of Labour, Materials, Plant & Sub-contractors in accordance with the requirements of scheme programmes for maximum utilisation.
Liaise with clients representatives.
Site Administration including Site Record Sheets, Site Diary, Site Incident Reports, Waste Transfer Notes, Statutory Inspections, Labour & Plant & Materials records.
Planning and programming of schemes.
Liaise with Schemes Manager to ensure schemes are fully resourced
Plan the locations for temporary Site Offices
Monitor Site Progress and report to Schemes Manager
Manage all operation in accordance with the Company’s HR policies and procedures.
Manages training needs in line with site requirements.
Safety Inductions, briefings & permits, check PPE, safe working practices, site security and signage.
Conduct Weekly Safety & Environmental Inspections.
Manages the Accuracy and Quality of works in accordance with company procedures,
Any other duties reasonably requested by line management.
What you’ll need to succeed
To be considered for this role all applicants must hold the following qualifications:
HND/HNC or equivalent qualification
NRSWA – Good experience of Traffic Management
Valid Drives Licence
Solid experience and knowledge of producing SHE documents and of CDM regulations
Experience using Mircosoft Project

You will receive a competitive salary between Â£34,000 – Â£40,000 dependent on experience with negotiable package.
