This company, a specialist manufacturer who are the UK’s market leader in their industry, are undergoing a period of huge expansion with plans to develop overseas. They are investing heavily into the business in the next few years and wish to develop the quality function.
In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in the development and maintenance of a Quality Management System with specific concentration on the supply chain. You will act as first point of contact for supplier quality issues, liaising closely with the supply chain and production facilities.

*Management and development of the Supplier Quality Manual
*Working to resolve quality issues arising from the Supply Chain
*Involvement in parts approval, auditing, investigations and continuous improvements
*Prior experience of working in a Quality or SQA Engineering role
*Knowledge of APQP/PPAP/8D/Process etc
*Familiar with Six Sigma, potential Green Belt or above qualified
*Coming from an Engineering, possibly automotive, background
