We are looking for a business development executive to join an exciting and growing SME operating in the area of fleet management and finance. Your role will involve prospecting for new corporate business of any size and offering a wide range of flexible solutions based on their needs for company cars. An interest in cars, as well as building your own business and providing an outstanding level of customer service are essential.
* Arrange meetings between advisors and customers through prospecting by phone and other methods
* Follow up leads and gain as much information as possible about potential clients
* Follow up on calls with detailed proposals
* Work together with senior account managers to bring on new business
* Attend client visits alongside senior account managers
* Achieve activity targets/KPIs
* Sales experience in a similar role desirable, though not essential
* Able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines and targets
* Willing to make outbound sales calls
* Tenacious and driven to succeed
* Have a good telephone manner
