This senior generalist role will provide guidance and support to a wide variety of both complex and routine administrative HR services; from handling TUPE situations to conducting exit interviews, working closely with the needs of the business and staff alike. The successful candidate will be expected to build relationships with key stakeholders of varying levels within the business. Assisting in the implementation of key business initiatives and providing business guidance on essential legal compliancy for employees. The role will be exposed to all areas of the full employee life-cycle.
Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Provide legally compliant advice & guidance on all aspects of HR and employment issues such as performance management, sickness management, maternity rights, and grievance and disciplinary, etc., ensuring all matters are handled consistently, sensitively and confidentially, if necessary.
Advise on legislative requirements and potential implications of actions as requested by the key stakeholders.
Ensure company policies and procedures are in place, reviewed and reflecting best practice.
Working with the requirements of the stakeholders to ensure that hiring, on boarding, retention and exit processes are carried out in line with business strategy.
Competently deal with ER issues, obtaining legal advice if necessary, to resolve proficiently.
Handle incoming and outgoing TUPE situations.
Advise and issue regulatory immigration/visa documentation efficiently and accurately for staff.
Assist the team with payroll and reconciliation variance report checks.
Support and liaise with the Talent team on global projects relating to career development initiative, performance management, employee recognition, training and development.
Management of the UK and Ireland employee benefits and services providers.
Manage and negotiate licence subscription for various HR tools and resources.
Organise Company updates and/or events for all UK and Ireland offices to enhance staff engagement & morale.

Computer literate: exposure to databases/HR systems (preferably Oracle HRMS), Outlook and advanced level Excel and Word.

Qualifications & Requirement:
HR generalist experience ideally gained within a complex multinational organisation.
Experience of managing complex ER relations cases (including tribunal claims).
Educated to degree level or equivalent.
Preferable but not essential: CIPD qualified or equivalent.
Occasional travel will be required.
