Newmarket Holidaysis seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join our busy teamto cover a period of maternity leave.
The HR Advisor will provide expert HR advice to all members of the Newmarket Holidays team on a range of employment issues and handling all related administration. The HR Advisor will work closely with directors and managers across the Group to help achieve our people strategy.
On a day to day basis the HR Advisor will be responsible for:
advising and coaching managers and staff on a diverse range of employment issues in line with Company policies, best practice and employment legislation
supporting managers and staff with performance management and appraisal
working closely with the Payroll & Benefits Advisor on relevant reporting, absence management and query resolution
responsibility for recruitment and selection, advising hiring managers on process, interview and selection technique and ensuring that briefs are met and budget is managed effectively
managing induction and on-boarding activity for new starters
support the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures
challenging and influencing behaviours across the Company, promoting high standards in employment practice
We’re looking for someone with a proven track record in a similar role as a HR generalist, ideally CIPD qualified (although this is not essential). You must be hands-on, flexible and adaptable, confident and customer service-oriented, and enjoy working as part of a fun, friendly team.
