Job Title: Training/Post Implementation Team Leader – Projects Division
Reports to: Manager – Projects Division
Responsible for: Implementation Consultants
Purpose and scope of the role
Dictate IT provides innovative, cost effective and clinically safe solutions to various NHS organisations. Dictate IT is an exciting new solution designed to help NHS hospitals produce high quality clinical correspondence and deliver them to patients, GPs and other healthcare professionals in a timely and cost effective manner.
Work with NHS Project teams to successfully deploy and deliver DictateIT Products/Services from Project Inception to Project closure
Manage Project Plans and Roll out schedules for all allocated Projects
Submit weekly Programme report compiled from Implementation Consultants
Write all training and end user documentation to ensure smooth running of project implementation.
Write and distribute work packages to implementation consultants
Understand third party systems to improve training material.
Attend all Project update meetings and Project board meetings of allocated Projects
Take ownership of customer problems and be proactive when dealing with customer issues.
Member of internal Project Board and CAB
Assist Manager of Projects with PMO Governance
Alongside the Manager of Projects regularly review existing PMO function, identify and facilitate improvement to existing processes where necessary
Mentor Project team, in line with ¼ PDP reviews
Assist Manager of Projects with PDP process for Project Team
Main point of contact/escalation when Manager of Projects is unavailable on post implementation issues
Understand and input in to the full project life cycle and tender process (Handover from pre-sales to project inception through to closure and BAU)
To carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned or as dictated by unexpected Business levels.
