Join a niche PR agency specialising in architecture and the built environment
We are looking for an intelligent and versatile Account Executive to join our small central London team. We provide PR and marketing services to a range of companies and organisations within the built environment, creative industries and the arts. We are described by clients as intelligent, knowledgeable, sophisticated and friendly.
At a minimum, candidates will have 1 year’s experience in PR, a BA degree or similar, and an interest in architecture and design. They will be dedicated to learning, personable, intelligent and a helpful team player. They will have an excellent command of written and spoken English, be outward going and energetic.
The right candidate will have the following attributes and skills:
Ideally at least a year’s prior experience of working in a PR environment
Excellent written and spoken English
Strong attention to detail
Excellent communication skills and telephone manner
Self-motivation and a proactive approach
An interest in architecture and design
A creative (and logical) mind set
A desire to grow with the company and pursue a career in PR
A flexible and helpful attitude
The role includes:
Media relations; including drafting press releases, creating press lists and contacting journalists
Helping to create and manage social media campaigns
Writing project description and possibly blogs
Attending meetings, contributing as appropriate, writing minutes
Brainstorming new business ideas, and inventive solutions for daily PR challenges
Answering telephone calls
Assisting in any way that helps to make our team more productive
The position could suit a young architect or graphic designer with some experience of PR and marketing.
Salary is negotiable depending on qualifications and experience.
We are a small and specialist PR and marketing consultancy based in a light-filled office in Soho. We provide expert and highly bespoke PR and marketing services to a range of companies and organisations within the built environment, creative industries and the arts.
