Luxottica is looking to grow its marketing team and have created a new position for a Trade Marketing Manager to look after the North Europe area. This position will be based in Hammersmith and is an exciting opportunity to join a successful and constantly growing international business.

Detailed Job Description
As Trade Marketing Manager (North Europe) you will be reporting into the Marketing Director North Europe and your key responsibilities will be to :
work with the Brand Managers and Sales teams to implement strategy and trade marketing activities across the different channels within the wholesale business;
develop key trade promotions and incentives for wholesale and key accounts;
recommend calendar of activities relevant for the Northern Europe Region in line with corporate strategy;
drive Brand Visibility, volume, and value within budget and to time by ensuring that both sales force and trade are supported with the appropriate tools and selling mechanics to positively affect both business-to-business sales and increased consumer demand;
be responsible for managing all POS, organising training, sales days and occasional brand events;
manage a team of Trade Marketing Assistants and Training Teams for UK, Nordic countries and Netherlands (8 to 10 direct reports);
work cross-functionally with: Commercial Managers, Sales Reps, Tech Reps, Key Accounts, Sales Support and PR in addition to being a key relationship holder with head office in Italy regarding all trade marketing;
act as a Brand Ambassador for all Luxottica brands ensuring brand consistency.
The successful candidate for this Trade Marketing Manager (North Europe) position must:
have strong commercial acumen around sales performance, promotional activity and analysis;
have strong analytical skills and be able to manage large amounts of data including sales figures and campaign reports;
ability to handle multiple internal and external stakeholders in order to successfully deliver on key projects;
seamlessly move from strategy to execution without being stuck in the detail or too high level;
have excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
have excellent spoken and written English;
have an imaginative and entrepreneurial approach;
have demonstrable interest or experience in the luxury goods and eyewear markets;
have excellent leadership and team working skills;
ideally, have some experience of managing teams/projects;
have strong previous trade marketing experience ideally within consumer products.
What’s on offer
This Trade Marketing Manager (North Europe) position will be based in Hammersmith and will include European travel on a regular basis.
The role is paying between Â£45,000 to Â£55,000 and offers great benefits including a fantastic bonus scheme, pension, life assurance, private medical insurance, frame allowance and gym discounts.
