We are looking to recruit a Supporter Development Executive (Legacy Marketing). You will assist with relationship management and stewardship of legacy supporters and enquirers in order to help deliver long-term growth in legacy income for Age UK.

Working closely with Direct Marketing Manager (Legacy Marketing), you will help to deliver the individual giving and legacies department’s legacy acquisition and stewardship programme. You will be the first point of contact for day-to-day legacy related enquiries from supporters, and also manage some legacy direct marketing campaigns.

We are looking to recruit a Supporter Development Executive (Legacy Marketing). You will assist with relationship management and stewardship of legacy supporters and enquirers in order to help deliver long-term growth in legacy income for Age UK.

Working closely with Direct Marketing Manager (Legacy Marketing), you will help to deliver the individual giving and legacies department’s legacy acquisition and stewardship programme. You will be the first point of contact for day-to-day legacy related enquiries from supporters, and also manage some legacy direct marketing campaigns.

The role requires a highly organised individual with excellent communication and project management skills. You will have experience in managing relationships with donors (or customers) and in managing projects. You must have the ability to work on several complex projects simultaneously whilst remaining calm under pressure.

Main Duties:

  • To be the first point of contact for day-to-day legacy related enquiries from supporters by email, post and phone, and ensure that all supporters receive excellent customer care.
  • To work with the Legacy DM manager, promoting legacy giving to both external and internal audiences.
  • To work with the events team to ensure that opportunities are identified and legacy supporters are invited to any appropriate Age UK events as a way of acknowledging their support.
  • To ensure that the database is accurately updated with relevant supporter changes or queries.
  • To assist the Legacy DM Manager with external legacy promotion and campaign management including co-ordinating with shops and partners as appropriate.

Your profile:

  • Demonstrable experience in office and administrative procedures, including MS office applications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work with people at all levels.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work to agreed procedures and policies
  • Ability to work on own initiative as well as in a team.
  • Experience of working in a customer focused or client services environment (desirable).
  • Good numerical and analytical skills.
  • Project management skills desirable.
