Agree with the Commercial Manager and the Customer Services Manager the level of resources allocated to the team, ensure proper training/familiarisation for the Sales Support/Customer Services staff with the specific customer requirements, and ensure that the team acts as an integrated unit in procuring business from those customers, and in providing excellent customer service and support.
Produce and agree with the Commercial Manager the budgets/targets – volume/revenue/contribution – split as required by trade/account etc., for the team and for the inside sales staff individually
Agree e-commerce targets for the team and for individual accounts, and monitor the outcome
Ensure that sales activities are co-ordinated with the appropriate overseas sales teams looking after the same business, and that appropriate information/reports/leads are generated by the marketing / sales support team. Co-ordinate with other overseas agency sales teams as needed for cross trade business. Relevant Experience Preferably more than 3 years in managing customers in shipping, Logistic/transport industry, including least 1 year with management responsibility for inside sales.
