Cambridge University Press is looking for an Enterprise Security Architect to join the Architecture department. This is a global role that will provide leadership as well as in-depth expertise in all of the security policy aspects surrounding the design, implementation and operation of Information Technology solutions at the Press.
This role is a business facing role that requires excellent interpersonal and political skills as well as technical understanding. It requires a pragmatist who can marry the risk a threat poses versus the investment necessary to mitigate it, and gain the business’ understanding and trust for those decisions.
The successful candidate should have a deep knowledge of the IT security world and CISSP certification would be preferred, along with understanding of related technologies including Active Directory, Office 365, SAML, Kerberos, Linux PAM, SAP CUA, Amazon AWS and Oracle RDBMS security. Architecture frameworks such as TOGAF and a working knowledge of UML and BPMN would be beneficial as well as broad experience of different application areas including ERP solutions such as SAP
You should have a strong understanding of modern IT security threats, knowledge of IT security frameworks and methodologies such as PCI and knowledge of IT security related software solutions, including anti virus, zero-day and other advanced threat detection solutions. Experience with Global network topologies and next generation firewalls is also desirable. You will need to have good interpersonal and communication skills, strong organisation skills with the ability to work to deadlines with speed and accuracy.
