Sales and Purchasing Administrator

Job Location: Bournemouth, Dorset

Job Type: Permanent

Salary: £17,500 – £20,000 per annum

Hours: 40 hours per week

We are looking to recruit someone to join our Procurement / Product Sourcing department.

Our client runs a busy distribution company and within their business requires someone to undertake a pivotal position with key duties to include:

Maintaining stock levels within the business through raising purchasing requests for new stock from our suppliers.
Chasing up stock orders from our suppliers to ensure prompt and swift delivery in to the business.
Sourcing new products for our clients from current and new suppliers.
Advising and supplying our customers with product information relating to some of the IT, Technology and Computing products we stock helping then choose the right product for their business requirements.
The ideal candidate will possess:

Excellent customer service skills
Superb communication skills both over the phone and via email
The ability to communicate clearly and precisely with people at all levels
Have a good grasp of technology or the ability to take information on board and then be able to portray that back to our customers in a clear and precise manner that helps them make key business decisions on products that would best suit their business needs.
Excellent administration and time management skills
This is a great opportunity to join a busy expanding and well established and respected company based in Bournemouth.

Hours: Monday- Friday 8.30am- 5.30pm
