Key duties and responsibilities

Reporting to the Head of Marketing working with the marketing department and wider team the Marketing Executive will:

Work with sales and production depts. very closely to ensure all data projects, promotions and partnerships are as effective and well-informed as possible
Make sure they have a detailed knowledge and understanding of their market and product in order to promote the events as effectively as possible
Drive the project forward where/if necessary through pro-active communications and brainstorming meetings with the wider team
Track performance of all campaigns in order to have an accurate overview of progress of campaign and all activities at all times
Work closely with support staff in order to best manage the work load – this includes granting visibility to colleagues who are also working with the same staff as well as delegating effectively
Undertake all ad-hoc duties set by the idiosyncrasies of the companies structure such as chasing invoices etc

Fostering a sense of teamwork across departments
A dedication to “achieving one’s goals” rather than “doing one’s hours”
Foundational knowledge of the events industry – specifically conferences and exhibitions (B2B + B2C)
Foundational knowledge of all Microsoft Office packages – Adobe is a bonus
English to a business standard
A healthy balance between employing effective processes and marketing with flair
Diplomacy in all forms of communication be it internal or otherwise
