We are currently recruiting for an exceptional SEN learning support assistant in Thornbury to start ASAP.
The school is a mainstream school but are looking for a teaching assistant to work 1:1 with a child with behavioural difficulties. Experience with challenging behaviour is essential.
The post is due to start on the 11th April and will last for the rest of the academic year. The role will be Monday – Friday 8.30 – 3.30.
The applicant must have experience working with SEN on a one to one basis or transferable skills. The position is long term, but could be permanent for the correct candidate. You will be working on a one to one basis delivering an individualized curriculum.
Successful applicants must have the following:
Positive attitude and SEN experience or
SEN Experience desirable
Caring and innovative mind-set
Patience and Responsibility
Good Literacy and Numeracy Skills
At least 1 years experience
All applicants will also have to undergo an Enhanced DBS check if they do not already have one.
