Our client, a leading international moving entity with a worldwide presence, now seeks to appoint a European Move Coordinator to be based in their office in London.
Previous experience of dealing with customers over the telephone and face to face
Excellent communication / administration/time management skills
Working knowledge of European moving / removal practices
To receive enquiries from private customers and interior designers for all types of removals
To ensure the accurate recording of all customer enquiries and subsequent entry onto the computer system
Record all storage movements, updating files accurately and produce invoices that reflect all charges
Provide financial/truck/labour/date requirements for all EU customers to operations department
Ensure all information, dates and details of shipments are accurately recorded onto the Moveware system
Provide assistance and status updates to customers to the best of your ability, knowledge and skills relating to the removal process
Provide the operations department in a timely fashion with all move requirements and documents
Provide assistance to customers to the best of your ability, knowledge and skills
Produce quotations to private customers in accordance with instructions provided by sales staff and management
Prepare and maintain job files
Prepare all necessary export and import documentation accurately
Price all European moves in conjunction with other coordinators
Process bookings for customers following consultation with despatch department
Maintain business relationships with our corporate clients
During the course of private moves identify possible corporate business and relay the information to our Business Development team
Manage daily relationships with overseas agents and partners
Be aware of the agreed invoice specification required by the customer including required documents, collate and copy all required documents, create invoices to reflect customer requirements, scan invoices and attachments, file electronically and hard copy and dispatch to client
This role is a “people orientated” one in which you will be required to provide the best possible standards of customer care at all times. You will be expected to take full ownership of any operational files in your care.
The job will involve consistent work under pressure, close scrutiny by management who will be aiming to deliver 100% good service delivery to end users, 100% billing accuracy to clients and high profitability to the company, and who will ensure that you deliver as closely as possible to these standards.
