HR Analyst

One of our large Investment Banking Clients, Bank of America Meryl Lynch is currently looking for an HR Analyst

Working within a team of Vendor Managers (VMs), Enterprise Vendor Managers (EVMs) and Vendor Management Administrators, this role will be responsible for managing assigned HR vendors.

The Vendor Management Administrator will ensure assigned vendors and associated risks (both operational and reputational) are managed effectively and in line with the banks risk appetite. This person, working with their HR colleagues, will take responsibility for ensuring enterprise control requirements are met. The role will provide the link between vendor performance and the wider enterprise vendor management programme and will require close partnering with HR colleagues in EMEA and the US while engaging internally with peers, business partners and senior executives. It is expected that the role will deliver against established vendor on-boarding and off-boarding processes whilst also identifying opportunities for the improvement of processes.

The successful candidate will develop a solid understanding of Bank of America’s Vendor Management process and deliverables while continuously ensuring that risk is appropriately managed. The role will also involve some ad hoc project work, reporting and maintenance of automated records. The successful candidate will be comfortable building effective relationships without face to face meetings and across countries.

Responsibilities

Ownership of the Vendor Risk & Performance Management (VRPM) deliverables for assigned vendors which includes day to day operational management, supplier scorecards, compliance activities, manager guidance and issue escalations, recording and reporting and stakeholder management;
Work with the country HR Managers, L&LD, ER team and vendors to ensure that all deliverables are met on time;
Support teams in selecting and managing fit for purpose vendors – driving consistency, delivery and ensuring proactive management;
Work with internal control functions to ensure that vendors are managed appropriately and actions taken to mitigate or eliminate identified risks;
Consistent and robust approach to vendor performance management, in line within the bank’s Global Vendor Management Programme (GVMP) framework;
Manage vendor changes in line with current legislation and market conditions;
Maintain records on VRPM and other relevant systems.
Essential:

Experience owning end to end requirements / deliverables with consistent examples of success;
Comfortable interfacing with leaders and business partners within a heavily matrix environment;
Strong organisation skills with ability to manage multiple deliverables simultaneously;
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and attention to detail;
Self-motivated, results-driven and problem solving ability;
Demonstrable experience of improving service levels;
Project / change management experience at the contributor level;
BAU refinement of objective measurement and or processes;
Experience of adhering to internal enterprise control teams (audit / risk / compliance); ability to understand their needs and foster effective relationships;
Proficient on Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Desirable:

Experience with supply chain sourcing processes;
Exposure to commercial agreements;
A European language is an advantage.
