Pharmfinders is currently working with a regional pharmacy chain in Stroud to find a Clinical lead Pharmacist to join their company.

This is a full time,permanent role based on either a 4 or 5 day working week depending on candidate preference. The branch is very busydispensing over 12,000 items per month with a team of 8 colleagues in total. This is broken down into 1 Non- Pharmacist Manager, 2 ACT’s, 6 Dispensing Technician’s/ Drivers.
The branch has a Non-Pharmacist manager to oversee day to day duties within the pharmacy which includes managing staff, resolving staffing issues and administrative responsibilities. Our client is looking for a clinically focused pharmacist to lead the enhanced and advanced services, maintain targets, maintain Clinical Governance and Compliance within the branch and offer excellent training to team members.
4 day working week: 40.25 hours per week
5 day working week: 49.25 hours per week
(Sat working required on a fair rota system, the hours above are based on one Sat per month this is a minimum requirement for the role)

Mon – Fri 09:00 – 18:00
Sat 09:00- 17:30
Salary: Candidate Specific includes a bonus scheme
Services Offered; a range of PGD enhanced and advanced services such as MUR, NMS, EHC, Minor ailments, Chlamydia screening, ED, Flu jabs, Malaria, Travel Vacs and smoking cessation
Duties include: managing the services and maintain targets in the pharmacy, offering on the job training to staff increasing individual skills and developments within the team and ensuring all staff are utilising their skills. Maintaining compliance and Clinical Governance which should be incorporated in staff training. Finally, creating and implementing new strategies and implications to drive the business forward to increase profitability within the company.
Opportunities in the future: becoming a Pharmacy Manager, Pre- Reg Tutor,Superintendent, Area Manager or getting involved in company projects.
