MD’s No.2 Property Dept -Team Leader / Operations Manager £32-£48K OTE depending on experience

We’re looking for a learner, someone with intellect who thinks, absorbs and picks things up quickly. You’ll have a track record of managing people, ability to lead and implement change with passion, pace and drive, a true ‘completer finisher’ with a ‘let’s get it done’ mentality.

You’ll be someone who can hold their own in a challenging environment, someone who doesn’t avoid conflict, a natural problem solver with the ability to manage and develop effective working relationships with stakeholders, clients, board members and teams. The type that enjoys resolving customer issues and acts strategically to prevent reoccurrence and/or gives ‘on-the-spot training’ to enable team members to grow.

Suitable experience will come from a highly regulated industry making you capable of managing a complex workload and holding overall responsibility for risk management and maintaining systems and processes which deliver.

Responsibilities will include:

• reporting to the Board

• deploying client relationship management & retention strategy,

• financial guidance on budgeting & authorizing high level expenditure,

• tracking risk and compliance,

• working with other team heads to carry out a strategic review of reserves & arrears,

• man-management, signing off work, 1:2:1’s with property managers, planning training,

• focus – triggering the ‘theme for the week’, motivating the team to manage their data,

• monitoring customer response indicators and motivating the team .

Person Specification:
• Degree level education

• Professional qualification

• Previous experience in a fast-paced, B2C volume multi-channel regulated industry

• Passion for building and maintaining strong relations with clients and prospects
• Superb presentation and personal communication skills. Enthusiastic, driven.
• Willingness to work hard, learn quickly and demonstrate high level of flexibility
• Excellent computer skills, database / workflow design. Attention to detail.
