A well established professional services company in Cardiff have an exciting opportunity for a bright and energetic Secretary to join their team.
Reporting to the Office Head, you will be responsible for providing a secretarial/administrative service and acting as the point of contact for Cardiff.
You will be responsible for:
Meeting and greeting visitors to the office
Dealing with incoming telephone calls and enquiries
Copy and audio typing, filing, photocopying, binding, organising and updating electronic diaries
Arranging meetings and organising travel arrangements.
Minute taking at meetings and drafting up of action points.
Updating case loads and files, drafting correspondence and invoicing
To be considered for this role you will need to have:
Experience of working in a professional services company, ie financial services, property or legal
Experience in a Secretarial or Administrative role, ideally 2 – 3 years experience
Excellent communication skills coupled with an eye for detail
A typing speed of 65 wpm+ and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word including mail merges.
Knowledge of other Microsoft programs helpful i.e. Excel, PowerPoint etc.
Experience with shorthand would be an advantage.
