The role we’re recruiting for;
The role of Commercial Assistant is a new project based role within the IT division, with responsibility for supporting the successful implementation of new systems and processes in the Wickes Commercial function as part of the upgrade of the existing JDA product file
To support the Commercial Lead with the project, working closely with external suppliers, IT and business stakeholders, to ensure the programme is effectively landed in Commercial, expected benefits are achieved and changes are sustained.
To apply detailed systems experience and sound Commercial insight to support the configuration of the upgraded PMM application, ensuring it is configured to meet Commercial requirements.
To advise on the creation of new Commercial business processes and ways of working to support delivery of the business change, focusing on changes which will improve efficiency and / or improve data accuracy
To support all ‘preparation’ elements of the project, working with IT and Category teams on various activities
To work with the project Business Analyst to design detailed test scripts
To carry out detailed user acceptance testing of the upgraded systems
To support the creation of Commercial training material for new systems and processes
To support trials / pilots, system cut-over and end-users capability after
Go-Live, as they familiarise themselves with the new ways of working
It would be great if you had…
1-2 years commercial admin
Effective communication skills
In depth knowledge of Commercial systems (eg JDA, PIM and Reporting)
Ability to build strong and effective relationships
