Phaidon International are currently searching for bright, enthusiastic and talented Graduate Recruitment Consultants to join the business in 2016 and embark on a career which could see you progress to Director-level within 4 years whilst earning a substantial package (£40k Y1, £70k Y2, £100k Y3 – OTE’s/Minimums). The majority of our leadership team here started their journeys as Trainee/Graduate Recruitment Consultants and we would love for you to do the same.

We select our markets carefully to make sure we are placing professionals in to fledgling, growing and expanding areas – therefore giving our consultants fantastic opportunities to be earning money from placingtalented professionals.

It’s difficult to simply list the roles/responsibilities of a Recruitment Consultant as put simply the position involves you to have overall business knowledge; you’re essentially running your own business or desk. Some of the key tasks include:
Sales – Probably the most important thing to understand about this role is it will be sales-focused. This includes Business Development calls to prospective and current clients as well as contacting candidates who you feel would suit said roles. We do expect you to work to targets; these are purely based on ‘best practice’ and modelled on our successful consultants.
Client Relations – A huge part of this position will be to keep on top of your client base and make sure that we will receive repeat business. This will be done with regular contact, in particular meetings.
Marketing – As mentioned this is ‘your business’, therefore if you are to keep growing you will need to be marketing yourself as well as your brand. You will have the aid of an award-winning marketing team here at Phaidon International but also be tasked of keeping a constant presence at networking events, on social media and much more.
Candidate Search – Through various means including job advertising, headhunting, referrals and more. Alongside a consistent candidate pipeline which you will maintain you will be wanting to constantly attract the very best talent to be represented by you in the market.
Candidate Screening/Interviewing – It’s extremely important to be meeting candidates both to fully understand their motives/personality to match with businesses as well as to be mapping the market from the best point of view – people that actually work in it!
Data Entry/Organisation – Although quite often overlooked with this type of position almost a lot of the time it’s extremely important to be on top of your workload and to have everything updated on our systems. You will have the best tools available at your disposal, it’s vital to be using them regularly.
In order to be considered for this position you MUST:
Be a hugely motivated individual with a natural flair for sales and good understanding of the business world.
Have graduated with a full degree, 2:1’s preferred however all grades considered.
Have the enthusiasm to work in a hugely targeted sales environment. Showing a clear competitive streak massively helps with this.
Looking to work in London. Opportunities for relocation are encouraged to our consultants once proven in the role.
Be extremely presentable, have excellent linguistic skills and be confident in liaising/talking with different types of people (including seniors).
Have a work hard, play hard mentality. This is a stressful environment and we want you to wind down with us as well!
