The Role

This is an exciting new role where you will be working within the Brakes Scotland business. An influential role helping to create and identify business opportunities, showing understanding and awareness of future customer and market trends and then being able to build great customer propositions to ensure we are in a position to be the market leader in bringing these to life.

By being the advocate, face and voice of our Scottish Brand you will grow credibility, customer confidence and increase overall food sales. Whilst imparting your infectious passion and knowledge on to our sales teams as well as providing them with the range of required products.
Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:

Your brief will be to meet and exceed the customer requirements and expectations, by building strong business relationships with our customer’s food development teams to drive innovation in menu creation and planning to drive mutual benefit for both businesses.

You will also be expected to deliver industry and sector leading presentations to external stakeholders and taking a lead role within face to face tender and business presentations.

The role will also involve working as part of a matrix team alongside Craft Development colleagues, National Account Managers, Product Development Managers and Category Managers and providing close up insight to the new product development process will be a key outcome
The Person

You will have excellent culinary skills, but also the ability to plan, adapt and self-start within this challenging and dynamic market. Resilient under pressure, prioritising numerous requests from various stakeholders whilst delivering to a high professional standard and within tight timeframes.
