Housingrecruit.com is currently advertising for two part time Income Officers on behalf of their client, a leading social housing provider based in Ringwood.
Are you an enthusiastic, highly motivated individual who has a genuine desire to go the extra mile for the customer?
As Income Officer you will provide customers with a high quality income collection service across a specific region, ensuring tenancy sustainment and maximising the organisation’s rental income stream.
With a service-orientated outlook and attitude, you will work to provide solutions and sign post customers’ for advice and support to help them maximise their income, as well as ensuring the recovery of the organisation’s rental income and other charges. You will also represent the organisation in any legal action for the recovery of arrears when required.
You must be a confident, an effective communicator and a team player who has access to a vehicle enabling you to travel to customers’ homes. You will have an understanding of social housing arrears recovery, housing benefit and general welfare benefit eligibility (sufficient to provide general advice to customers) and have a good working knowledge of the Governments Welfare Reforms.
Ideally you should have experience of recovery for different tenure types including social, market rent, mortgage rescue, shared owners and intermediate.
This post will cover an area including Poole and Bournemouth.
