Property Services Officer
£27,364pa plus up to 5% Performance Related Pay

Our residents are at the heart of everything we do at Newlon. With approximately 8,000 affordable homes across north and east London, we are implementing changes and improvements to bring all our services up to our Newlon Gold standard.
You will take responsibility for a range of duties to support an effective Repairs, Building Services and Asset Management service to all Newlon residents.This will include checking and authorising payment of invoices, maintaining gas servicing records, as well as raising repair orders and checking/authorising requests from contractors. You will also be required to maintain databases, monitor performance and handle customer enquiries.
With experience of providing a customer-focused service for residents, you will confidently resolve complaints from service users and suppliers of services, sometimes in challenging situations. You will have knowledge of housing legislation in relation to buildings, along with excellent IT and decision-making skills. Positive and approachable, you will enjoy working under pressure, achieving results and identifying ways to continually improve customer service. On occasion, this role will require you to work some evenings and weekends.
