Working closely with the CRM and online teams, the CustomerInsight analyst will provide actionable insight into Marketing trends,scenarios and performances for the business to continue its success bothon and offline.You will play an integral role in influencing bothbusiness strategies, delivering customer insights and knowledge throughquantitative data reporting and modelling.
With an inquisitive and commercial mindset, Datastorytelling must be at the heart of everything you do, gaining buy in fromsenior stakeholders through clear and concise messages with the ability tosupport your findings at a granular level.
This is much more than a technical role. As our CustomerInsight expert you will have a passionate interest in customer behaviour and excellent commercial instincts, helping you to carve out future strategies through data modelling and scenario and budgetforecasting through to sensitivity and proprietary testing.
Areas of specific responsibility
Process and analyse customer and market data to produceclear findings and recommendations for the marketing & online teams toaction.
Communicate segmentation analysis, relevant trends andcampaign performances (including SLA’s & KPI’s) to stakeholders acrossthe business.
Provide insight into several streams of data from CRM andcustomer Life cycle through online to digital acquisition.
Working closely with Data teams (internal & external) toresolve issues and data exemptions.
Contribute to new customer proposition projects.
Proactively seek out opportunities to add value to thebusiness
Reporting on trend analysis and root cause
Forecasting through Uncertainty/Sensitivity testing andscenario planning to create data driven performance from historic andcurrent data.
Customer Journey analysis focussing on path to conversionattribution, MVT analysis and churn
Touching on brand performance including MPS scores.
The desirable candidate will have
Strong Excel skills (Including V and H Lookups, Pivots andmacros)
Basic working knowledge and understanding of VBA and SQL.
Experience in managing data and proven success in applying arange of analytical skills and techniques.
Strong commercial awareness
Demonstrable experience of data modelling
A natural problem solver with the ability to understand andinterpret data effectively
Ability to work proactively and manage own workload to tightdeadlines with a flexible approach
Attention to detail and critical thinking
Inquisitive in nature
Experience within retail or subscription based businesseswith a loyalty scheme or large CRM environment would beadvantageous.
