Office Administrator – City Livery Company (Guild) – Part-Time 3 days a week to assist the Clerk of the Guild and his PA. The position has various facets to it, all of equal importance and is a very rewarding Part-Time role.

The Role of Office Administrator includes:

General Office duties, assisting both the Clerk and the PA to the Clerk
In association with Accounts Coordinator, process and dispatch of shop orders as required.
Maintaining up to date Master address lists as necessary.
Attending various regular meetings to take the minutes (non verbatim) and prepare them for the Chairman’s approval.
Prepare all the notices and send out the relevant papers on a strict time schedule for the AGMs of the various committees, including the AGM for the 2000 + members.
Work with the Scholarship Selection Committee, by preparing press releases, advertising, contacting applicants and tracking and informing the applicants of their progress through the process.
Assisting the Clerk and PA to the Clerk on the organisation and execution of Annual events for Members – Livery Dinner, Talks, Scholarship Reception, Court Election Dinner, Trophies & Awards Banquet, Carol Service and Supper.
Attending monthly Company Functions as directed by the Clerk.
Assistance with recovering gowns and silverware to Company office following external functions or meetings
You are:

You must have proven experience of working in an administrative or PA role that required meticulous attention to detail.
You are wanting a role that has real longevity.
You have good communication skills, both literate and spoken (you must have fluent spoken English);
Experience in compiling documents and minutes
Excellent communication skill as you will be speaking with the Guild’s members both by email, phone and at functions.
You are used to working with CRMs, love administration and have good MSOffice skills.
By nature you like to work as part of a small team, are cheerful, willing, flexible and professional in your manner.
You are looking for a role that will last for many years, rather than climbing a career ladder.
The role is for 3 consecutive days per week – Tues/Wed/Thurs

Salary 24k.
