We are a global healthcare / Biotechnology company specialising in the on-going development and commercialisation of products targeting cancer, critical care and other disorders. We have recently launched two highly innovative injectable products onto the market that are ground-breaking in their ability to treat cancer and cure other disorders.
Due to the continued success we have encountered and the global demand for our products we are continuing to expand our production capabilities. As a result we have an exciting opportunity for an Autoclave Technician / Production Technician to join the business on a three month temp-to-perm basis.
The Autoclave Technician / Production Technician will manufacture and process drug-device combination pharmaceutical products to defined standards of quality, cGMP and safety. This includes the sterilisation of terminally sterilised products. A member of the production team who provides direct support to the efficient running of the manufacturing area and thereby ensuring the manufacturing schedule is met.
*To ensure that the manufacturing facility and the activities that take place within it are all compliant with cGMP and EHS regulations, at all times.
*To proactively support the production.
*To perform and record cleaning of process equipment and facilities in accordance with relevant documentation and procedures.
*To follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s), Work Instructions (WI)s), Quality Records (QRs) and Batch Manufacturing Records (BMRs) and to participate in the generation, completion and review of such documentation when required, to agreed timelines.
*To conduct accurate batch manufacturing data collection activities and ensure such data collection tools are maintained at all times.
*To document all EHS incidents and cGMP events to agreed timelines using the required business systems. To participate in subsequent root cause investigations (RCA) and perform corrective and preventive (CAPA) activities that may be assigned.
*Carry out quality and safety audits as directed by the Cleanroom Lead
*To carry out material handling duties as dictated by the operation in a safe and appropriate manner.
*To ensure that all training is completed to appropriate timelines and standards, relevant for the role, in accordance with approved/agreed modules.
*Ensuring that all interactions and engagements are carried out with the highest ethical and professional standards and that all work is accomplished with quality and in accordance with company values.
Education and Experience
*Ideally educated to GCSE – HND/C standard in a relevant Science subject and / or experience of working in a manufacturing environment that employs a quality system (cGMP, ISO9001).
*A good understanding of cGMP and EHS practices.
*An understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles is desirable.

The successful Autoclave Technician / Production Technician / Laboratory Technician will be working on a double day shift pattern, 5am – 1:30pm, 2:30pm – 11pm (one week of each rotating weekly).
In return we are offering a base salary of Â£23,000 + Â£3,600 shift allowance, 10% annual bonus, 28 days holiday + bank holidays, healthcare, dental, flexible benefits
