Reporting to the Digital Marketing Manager, the Digital Design & Social Media Executive will be responsible for designing all marketing material (including online/website banners, emails and collateral) ensuring that they are focused towards eliciting a direct response from the end consumer whilst maintaining brand integrity.
He/she will also be required to manage all social media activity for Guthy-Renker UK’s brands on a daily basis (handing over to the appropriate colleague in the Marketing team when out of the office).
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Working closely with the Marketing team and transforming their requirements and ideas into engaging, response-driven design solutions
Develop designs to be used for online (predominantly) and offline media including online/website banners, promotional emails, online ads and printed collateral
Use Photoshop and Illustrator (where necessary) to create and edit visual content
Creation and ongoing management of an image library, including logos and brand guidelines
Social Media Outreach:
Working closely with your manager and the Marketing team to develop and implement the social media strategy for all brands
Plan, create and deliver an ongoing programme of content for social media outreach activity, which is on-brand from a creative and tone of voice point of view
Day-to-day management of the relevant social channels for each brand (including YouTube, Facebook and Twitter)
Recommend paid posts where necessary, ensuring the available budget is spent effectively
Collate, maintain and distribute reports showing the key metrics of the brands’ social media activity
Keep up to date with the latest developments and trends in social media (including competitor activity), and share with the Marketing team
Responsible for the promotion and reputation of the brands across all of the social media channels utilised
Regular monitoring of inbound posts and brand mentions, responding to positive and negative posts in a timely, professional manner with the help of the Marketing team and Customer Support if required
Recommendation and ownership of social media management tools and listening platforms

KEY SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES
Strong creative skills with a minimum 24 months digital graphic design experience, ideally with a direct response focus
Demonstrable experience (minimum 24 months) in social media campaign creation and management across multiple platforms, including Facebook and Twitter
A confident communicator, written and verbalwith strong English writing skills including literacy and grammar
Strong knowledge of social media platforms like Hootsuite
Skilled in the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop essential), with HTML and CSS knowledge a bonus
Meticulous attention to detail
Excellent prioritisation and organisational skills, with a flexible approach to working within a fast changing environment
PC literate (including Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
