A leading clothing retailer with shops all across the UK are seeking an experienced E-Commerce/Marketing Web Manager to work in lovely offices and location within Cumbria. Our webstore is fast becoming one of our biggest shops so it’s a great time to come on-board and help lead the next phase of our Sales growth. The overall purpose of this role is day to day management of the company’s website as a whole. (website shop), looking at how to attract customers, ensure items that are for sale are displayed properly and making sure that when sales are made they are despatched to customers on time. Your duties will include (but not limited to): E-Commerce / Marketing Web Manager your role will include:
Managing the E-Commerce website
Setting up products on websites linked to our Navision merchandising systems
Manage the e-mail marketing system including creating the weekly set of themes and product offers. There is a separate programme for the creation of emailed promotions. Managing the email database, sending out the email promotions.
Manage the SEO strategy to maintain our high search listings. Making sure that key words for products are reach and there are a lot of them on the site, so that when someone searches for a black ladies bag, appear very high on the listings.
Work with our Buyers and Retail teams to select products for promotions, each week there needs to be promotions for key products whether its scarves, boots or jackets, ensure the promotions will appear on the website.
Manage the marketing budget and specifically the Google & Facebook PPC and Affiliate programs. Managed by a Marketing agency, liaising with the agency to ensure budgets are corrects
Weekly reporting of performance – sales, margins, traffic, conversions etc
Work with the Warehouse manager to ensure we have timely dispatch of web orders at the optimal postage costs. Sales order person will report into this role.
Manage the Google Analytics and Webmaster tools, monitoring the performance of the website, pulling off MI reports and technical elements.
Product photography, Photoshop editing, Indesign or equivalent for graphic design
Updating and engaging on Social Media Platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram this will involve liaising with the Marketing Agency, looking at adding more products for promotion
Responsible for formulating and creating fresh, engaging content for the website, products, social media and email campaigns
Manage a small but growing team of staff and indirectly manage teams across other functions. Managing a Graphic Designer and IT/Order Assistant and indirectly the warehousing team to ensure despatch is done.
To apply you must have previous E-commerce/Web Marketing management experience. Ideally people management experience but that isn’t essential
Have a good working knowledge of HTML (all web coding is managed by a third party).
Have some experience of new site set-up and project management with perhaps knowledge of Magento. They plan to move to a new website platform so experience of setting up new websites would be great
Must have a retail background
Be interested in Fashion and/or Fashion retail
Possess a professional and confident attitude
Be driven to succeed as a member of the head office team
Degree educated or equivalent
Ideally 5 years Digital Marketing/SEO experience
Retail experience within a Marketing function an advantage but not essential. company offers.
