My client is the largest banking brands in Europe and one of the worlds largest, due to company growth and development they are currently in the process of major recruitment growth.
They are recruiting a number of Technical Support Specialist within their analytical team on a perm basis .
undertake a range of complex reconciliations and data validation tasks across multiple systems and databases and to define process for user, system and parameter administration
?Define, execute and monitor metrics to support the validation of data quality in both Risk and source systems that provide data
?Deliver improvements to the quality of data in the systems supported/reconciled, facilitated by the use metrics and analysis.
?Undertake volume data quality checks at account level to support delivery of improved quality and increased efficiency across the business
?Define, execute and monitor reconciliations across multiple systems, ledgers and Basel repositories
?Proactively identify improvements identified from the data validation and reconciliation processes
?Using Constructive and Consistent analysis to drive changes in systems and behaviour.
?Providing support, technical expertise on all related projects, including managing stakeholders and regular updates to all parties, senior management and committees facilitating change initiatives to be delivered
?Representing the department in various meetings and workshops as the knowledge expert – project, testing, development either in a face to face environment or telephone conferences
?Produce Test Scripts and participate in user acceptance testing and live testing for new Risk systems
?Managing data/parameter updates direct into Risk Systems
?Experience of data validation and/or undertaking complex reconciliations
?Experience in developing and running system controls
?Proficiency and experience of Microsoft suite of programs (particularly Excel, Access, and Powerpoint).
?Accuracy and attention to detail.
?Experience in SQL and SAS would be desirable
?Proven ability in identifying, analysing and successfully resolving issues.
?Experience of providing recommendations for improvements.
?Excellent interpersonal skills – able to work across cultural boundaries to deal effectively with all levels of staff and build good relations with departments in the business, IT and Risk
