We’re recruiting for an Group IT Customer Services Manager – a new role in our Euston Head Office to support our senior managers in their IT needs. We’re not looking for advanced networking skills or the ability to set up a server – you need to be a customer facing expert with great admin skills.

We have a great opportunity for an experienced Group IT Customer Services Manager to join our Head Office team in London, to manage the Desktop Support Team as well as support the Senior Business leaders with their IT requirements. With your experience in Customer Service or PA support, you will be comfortable working across the businees and be able to work with key senior stakeholders to set up basic tech (IPads, Mobile phones, laptops)
Typical duties would include:
To personally manage end-to-end, new user requests through procurement of tech kit and set up of phones, email accounts and access to systems and folders
To manage the queue of desktop support tickets ensuring that tickets are worked on in order and that ‘stuck’ tickets are escalated as appropriate
To report from the ticket system on desktop support aged tickets and ticket volumes
To attend weekly team meetings with Group IT in Birmingham (sometimes in person, sometimes by telephone
To report for UK Steering on Office IT issues and resolution activities
To drive down errors and delays in new user set up
To drive down backlog in desktop support tickets
To set expectations with available kit and lead times
To be successful in this role, we need someone with the following skills.
Experience of working with windows, or android mobile phone set up, iPads and iPhones
Positive, can do attitude with the ability to priorities own workload and work as part of a team
Ability to work under pressure, maintaining accuracy whilst achieving timescales
Excellent inter-personal and communication skills – both oral and written with a strong customer focus
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Ensuring processes are followed but able and willing to go the extra mile to make things happen fast when appropriate
Strong IT and administration skills
Experience in People Management
You must be able to demonstrate previous experience in a similar role and be eligible to work in the UK.
