An established and expanding environmental consultancy seeks a Senior Sustainability Consultant to join their assessment team.
You will be working on a diverse range of projects in both the domestic and non-domestic sector. This will require comprehensive knowledge of low carbon technologies and techniques as well as a firm understanding of their ‘real world’ integration
This job is a Full Time position.
Carrying out certified environmental assessments using a range of methodologies (BREEAM, Code for Sustainable Homes, SAP and BREEAM Domestic Refurbishment).
Although you will have continued technical support from the senior team members and your line manager, it is expected that you will join us with the skills and competencies necessary to manage multiple projects and carry out the majority of assessment tasks unaided.
Providing clear advice and support to clients and design teams.
Aid and assist in the training of junior members of staff.
Reporting progress to the Director.
Essential and Desired Skills
·Qualified BREEAM or Code for Sustainable Homes Assessor
·Minimum 2 years in a similar role in the UK
·Fluency in English.
·Excellent report writing skills.
·Organised and efficient.
·SAP Qualification (OCDEA)
·Experienced in IES
·Experience in undertaking Energy Statements
·Personable with a can-do attitude.
·Able to present ideas in a concise and articulate manner.
·Excellent verbal and written communication skills – a confident and professional manner, a positive attitude and a keenness to learn.
·Able to pick things up quickly.
·Able to work under tight deadlines and manage own workload.
·Must be used to dealing with multiple tasks/projects – highly organised, focused, efficient and process driven.
