Account Manager Job based in Central London selling Software and technologies solutions.

Hays are currently working a job with a fast growing IT business that focusses on delivering telephony, networking, hosted and computer support solutions to the serviced office industry. My clients aim is to simplify technology by providing businesses with a single point of contact for all IT requirements. They are now seeking a highly motivated and driven account manager to join the sales team leader in development existing accounts.
Your new role:
Reporting into the Sales team leader, you will be responsible for establishing and developing the business’s client base through generating revenue within your assigned territory. On a daily basis you will be networking with your clients through visits, up selling and cross selling the product portfolio of telephony, cloud, on premise and support solutions. You will be towards targets and KPIs including: number of appointments, meetings, number of outbound and effective calls made.
What you’ll need to succeed:
The successful candidate will come from a Software/Technologies and OR telecoms background with a minimum of 1-2 years plus experience in sales position. You will have the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines with strong planning and negotiation skills, face-to-face experience is crucial to be successful in this role, coming from a sales role where you were engaging with clients on a daily basis and nurturing existing accounts.
