Regulatory Focused Project Manager, OTC, Futures, MiFID II, London, 6months
Tier One Investment Bank is looking to appoint a Project Manager to work on a Regulatory Change piece focusing upon Futures and OTC Products, you will be based in my clients London offices on an initial 6 month contract.
The role is required to drive the delivery of F&O and OTC clearing regulatory reform programme. Associate will be working on MIFID II workstreams with direct impact on F&O and OTC Clearing, as well as supporting overall PMO from an F&O and OTC Clearing perspective. The team is being expanded to help support the increased regulatory regime in EMEA (i.e. MIFID II / Transaction Reporting) across F&O and OTC Clearing.
As Project Manager, you will be responsible for:
Managing the end-to-end delivery of a given project, overseeing the entire project lifecycle.
Documenting functional business requirements and working with Technology to help them create Technical Specifications.
Acting as liaison between Operations, Technology, Front Office, Compliance, Legal, Tax, Treasury, and Finance globally.
Working with external entities on behalf of the firm such as Clearing Houses and Vendors.
Providing regular project status updates through bank-approved systems.
Strong project management and business analysis skills.
Futures and OTC Clearing industry experience working for a Clearing Member, exchange, Clearing House, or regulator.
Regulatory reform experience, ideally with EMIR/MIFID/MIFID II and transaction reporting.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office – Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project, Word, Access.
Nice to have
Experience using SunGard GMI.
Formal project management qualification, such as PRINCE2 or AGILE.
