My client is has a global remit, providing a number of services to their clients. They have an established in house Legal department which is looking to double in size over the next two years. The head of the Department is a previous director of a well-established legal firm in Manchester so he has the expertise and commitment to develop a strong department.
Whilst handling your own small caseload of RTA/EL/PL you will manage a Team of approx 6 Litigation Executives ensuring SLA targets are achieved and cases are progressed effectively. You will be reporting to the Head of Legal and feedback in relation to upholding standards and making improvements where appropriate.
Running a caseload of personal injury claims (approx. 30)
Overseeing the progress of the Grade 1 and Grade 2 litigation executives
Reporting to Head of Legal on the team’s performance
Providing feedback as to how to maintain/improve individual and team quality
Undertaking telephone attendances on clients and with other persons as required.
Maintaining and updating of the appropriate case management systems.
Applying the Company’s approved procedures and systems in all their respects.
Promoting and maintain positive relationships with colleagues throughout the firm.
In depth knowledge of the personal injury claims process from start to finish
Familiarity with Civil Procedure, Protocols and processes for personal injury claims
Pre- and post- litigation experience within RTA and/or EL/PL
Experience of managing junior handlers and running own caseload
