Think Specialist Recruitment is seeking a customer focused individual with previous Customer Service and/or Helpdesk experience for a large, well known company that operates on a national basis with their headquarters in Hemel Hempstead. Working in a fantastic, modern, vibrant office environment and friendly team, we are looking for candidates with previous customer service experience and/or the desire to work in a helpdesk role. On top of a good basic salary, you will also receive overtime, up to 10% bonus annually and lots of opportunities for progression.

The successful candidate will need to be personable, enthusiastic and have a warm, outgoing character with an excellent telephone manner. Also the ability to prioritise, and a willingness to take ownership is necessary to succeed.

Overview of Duties

·Handling inbound calls from internal members of staff

·Resolving questions and queries

·Incident call logging onto helpdesk system.

·Escalation of calls that cannot be resolved to the relevant team.

·Creating system accounts/logins and password resets

·Lead on the procurement of hardware/software for the IT department

·Responsible for maintaining stock levels for the helpdesk team.

·Managing supplier relationships to ensure all orders are competitively priced.

·Managing expectations in regards to internal orders.

·Creating system accounts, configuration of blackberry handsets.

·Managing joiners/movers/ leavers IT requirements.

·Ordering printer toner.

Candidate requirements

·Previous experience within a customer focused position.

·Strong Windows and MS Office knowledge

·An interest or knowledge of PCs, printers and multimedia equipment would be preferable.

·Excellent communicator, both written and verbal.

·The ability to prioritise and organise workload under pressure.

·Willingness to take ownership of tasks

·Able to work Saturday OR Sunday approx 3 weekends in 8 (overtime paid)
